We are looking for a Medior AI / Platform Engineer to join a long-term strategic initiative focused on building and scaling a governed, multi-tenant AI platform powered by Databricks Mosaic AI.
This role combines AI engineering, platform enablement, and developer experience, helping teams adopt agentic AI through reusable frameworks, golden paths, SDKs, templates, and evaluation patterns.
What You'll Do
* Support the implementation and adoption of Databricks Mosaic AI within an enterprise AI platform.
* Design and develop AI agents using the Mosaic AI Agent Framework.
* Build and maintain reusable developer assets including:
* SDKs
* CLI tools
* Templates
* Golden paths
* Define and implement agent evaluation and monitoring strategies.
* Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and platform teams to enable self-service AI development.
* Contribute to AI governance, platform standardization, and operational best practices.
* Support model lifecycle management, experimentation, and deployment processes.
Required Skills & ExperienceAI & Machine Learning
Strong hands-on experience with Databricks Mosaic AI and AI agent development
Understanding of Agentic AI concepts and agent behavior design
Experience with Databricks ML Platform and Spark ML
Knowledge of:
* Feature engineering
* Data preprocessing
* Model evaluation techniques
Experience using:
* MLflow
* AutoML tools
* Agent monitoring and evaluation frameworks
Development
Strong Python development skills
Experience with:
* pandas
* numpy
* scikit-learn
Platform & Deployment
Basic understanding of:
* Containerization
* Model deployment
* Platform engineering concepts
Experience working in cloud-based data and AI environments
Nice to Have
Experience designing internal AI platforms or self-service ML platforms
Knowledge of MLOps practices and AI governance frameworks
Experience creating developer enablement assets (SDKs, templates, CLI tools)
Familiarity with multi-tenant platform architectures
Language Requirements
English: C1 / C2 (mandatory)
