LAAGAM is looking for a Quality Control & Fitting Specialist
to ensure the perfect fit, construction and finishing of every garment. This role will be key in guaranteeing that all products meet LAAGAM's quality standards and brand DNA before going to market.
You will work closely with design, product and suppliers, owning the fitting process and technical quality control from samples to production.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Fitting & product validation
- Lead and coordinate fitting sessions, ensuring correct fit, proportions, construction and brand consistency.
- Review technical sheets, patterns and previous comments prior to fittings.
- Verify that samples match the correct version (fabric, size and finishes).
- Mark technical corrections directly on garments and document them with photos and measurements.
Technical communication & rectifications
- Write and send clear technical comments in English to suppliers.
- Prioritize and follow up on corrections to ensure proper understanding and implementation.
Quality control & production
- Control PPS, size sets and production samples, validating measurements, tolerances and finishes.
- Perform quality checks during production and warehouse stages (seams, trims, interior and exterior finishes).
- Detect deviations versus approved samples and ensure consistency across units.
- Give final technical and quality approval for commercialization.
Documentation & continuous improvement
- Track recurring issues by supplier and reference.
- Document technical decisions, approved versions and quality criteria.
- Propose technical and process improvements to prevent future errors and optimize quality.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of experience in fitting, quality control and pattern making.
- Strong technical knowledge of woven and knit garments.
- Background in fashion design, pattern making or similar.
- Proficiency in pattern-making tools (GERBER or similar).
- Organized, proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- High attention to detail and strong technical judgement.
- Daily use of English for technical sheets and supplier communication.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
