The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is seeking a Junior Legal Officer to support the Legal Department. The successful candidate will provide legal advice and support across a range of activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and addressing the legal needs of the institute. The role reports to the Head of the Legal Department, ensuring high quality of work and timely delivery. A strong team‑based approach is required.
Responsibilities

* Provide legal advice on contracts and agreements between CRG and other institutions.
* Monitor legislative changes and advise on their impact.
* Give counsel on Public Procurement and Personal Data Protection.
* Draft legal action documents, pleadings, and other required litigation materials.
* Execute legal procedures with official bodies and manage insurance policies.
* Perform administrative tasks to support department operations.
Qualifications
*
* Minimum two years of experience in a similar role.
* Previous experience in a research centre is an advantage.
* Hold a Degree in Law.
* Additional specialised training in public procurement, data protection or related areas is positively regarded.
* Fluent in English, Catalan and Spanish, written and spoken.
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
