In this role you will :
As an IT Business Analyst at WebBeds, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between our business and technical teams. You’ll be instrumental in translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications that drive successful product delivery. Working closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams, you’ll ensure that solutions are not only technically sound but also aligned with business goals. Your ability to communicate technical concepts across varying levels of understanding will be essential in fostering collaboration and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Facilitate technical discussions with product and business teams, assessing the feasibility of new features and enhancements.
Translate business requirements into detailed technical documentation, ensuring alignment with development and QA needs.
Support QA teams by drafting test plans and assisting in quality assurance activities to ensure robust and reliable solutions.
Prepare and deliver clear technical documentation and presentations for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with developers and QA to clarify technical specifications, ensuring seamless handovers and successful implementation.
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, communicating complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable way.
Participate in the review and validation of technical designs to ensure they meet business requirements and technical standards. Conduct risk assessments and impact analysis to identify potential challenges and dependencies.
Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on processes, documentation, and communication workflows.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices, bringing new ideas to support business and technical innovation.
The skills we would love to see in your suitcase!
Proven experience in a technical role within an IT environment, such as a Technical Analyst, Software Developer, or similar, with a strong ability to understand technical concepts, system architecture, and code structure.
Hands-on experience with programming and scripting languages, with the ability to read and understand code. Proficiency in SQL or similar technologies is highly beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Experience translating business requirements into clear technical specifications and documentation, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and development teams.
Familiarity with software development and QA processes, including creating test plans and supporting quality assurance efforts.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A collaborative, team-oriented mindset, comfortable working across different functions and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning, process improvement, and staying up to date with industry trends.
