Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experience-focused Global Onboarding & Orientation Lead to join our Talent Management COE. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuity, consistency, and quality of the onboarding and orientation experience for new joiners around the globe.

You will work cross-functionally to shape and continuously improve the end-to-end onboarding journey, from pre-boarding through the first 90 days, ensuring it reflects our culture, values, and business priorities. This role requires close collaboration with HR Business Partners (HRBP), Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence, and functional teams such as IT, Workplace Services, and Enterprise Communications to deliver a seamless and engaging experience for every new employee.
Key responsibilities
* Own and evolve the design and execution of global onboarding and orientation strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise talent goals and local needs.
* Partner with Talent Acquisition COE to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee, with clear handoffs and shared accountability.
* Oversee the design, execution, and continuous improvement of onboarding and exit surveys, using insights to inform talent strategies, identify systemic opportunities, and enhance practices and experiences across the organization.
* Collaborate with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition COE and Employee Experience COE to understand employee experience feedback and tailor onboarding approaches to different regions, functions, and levels.
* Coordinate with IT, Workplace Services, and other functional teams to ensure operational readiness and a seamless Day 1 experience.
* Design and maintain onboarding content, toolkits, and communications that reflect Agilent culture and values.
* Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure onboarding effectiveness, including time-to-productivity, new hire satisfaction, and process completion rates.
* Use data to identify continuous improvement and innovation opportunities.
* Support the delivery of virtual and in-person New Employee Orientation sessions, including global welcome events and leader-led introductions.
* Ensure onboarding practices are inclusive, scalable, and adaptable to different employee groups (e.g., remote, hybrid, early career, senior leader).
* Act as a central point of contact for onboarding-related inquiries, resources, and best practices across the HR community.
Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications:
* 4+ years of experience in HR, employee experience, or program management roles with a focus on onboarding, orientation, or employee lifecycle programs.
* Strong project management and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines.
* Experience working in a global or matrixed organization, with sensitivity to cultural and regional differences.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills-comfortable engaging at all levels.
* Familiarity with onboarding tools, HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday), and digital collaboration tools.
* Bachelor's degree in HR, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
