Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head Sommelier in managing and developing the resort's wine program
Curate and maintain wine lists aligned with the resort's culinary concepts
Provide expert wine recommendations to guests
Deliver wine service to the highest luxury standards
Support inventory management, and stock control
Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of all wines
Organize wine tastings, training sessions, and supplier presentations
Train and mentor service employee on wine knowledge and pairing principles
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in a Sommelier or Assistant Sommelier role within a luxury hotel or fine-dining environment
Strong knowledge of international wine regions and styles
Recognized wine qualifications (WSET, CMS, or equivalent wine academy certifications required)
Strong guest engagement and communication skills
Fluency in english
Fluency in a second language (Russian, German, French)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service
