We’re seeking a strategic and user-obsessed Product Owner to lead the roadmap and development of our iOS and Android mobile app that connects and controls our smart products. In this role, you’ll drive the intersection of hardware and software—working closely with UX, engineering, QA, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, reliable, and scalable mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Own the product backlog for our mobile apps (iOS and Android) used to interact with smart / connected devices
Translate customer and business needs into detailed user stories, features, and acceptance criteria
Prioritize development work based on impact, feasibility, and customer value
Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure app integration with device firmware and cloud services
Work closely with mobile engineers and UX / UI designers in Agile teams (internal and external) to deliver iterative improvements
Drive feature discovery and experimentation using user research, A / B testing, and analytics
Ensure seamless performance, connectivity, and usability across platforms and devices
Serve as the voice of the user, ensuring mobile experiences are intuitive and aligned with business goals
Contribute to product vision and long-term strategy by identifying emerging trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation in the mobile and connected device space
Lead sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions
Requirements
3–5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally for mobile apps (iOS / Android) in B2B
Proven track record managing apps that interact with physical products or smart / IoT devices
Deep understanding of mobile development processes and app lifecycle management
Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
Skilled in writing clear user stories and prioritizing feature development
Comfortable working in Agile / Scrum environments with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, and mobile analytics platforms
Understanding of BLE, Wi-Fi, and other device connectivity protocols is a strong plus

Experience with connected home, wearable tech, or industrial IoT products
Familiarity with app store deployment and compliance processes (Apple App Store / Google Play)
CSPO or other Agile product certification
German (B2)
