We are seeking a Studies Technician to ensure the proper preparation of the technical bid according to the technical specifications of the tender.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the preparation of the technical bid dossier.
* Thoroughly study the tender documents to organize the technical proposal preparation.
* Develop technical documentation for tenders, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with specifications, with support from specialists.
* Identify and manage collaboration with various departments, organizing communication, information requests, and document review.
* Ensure the technical documentation's quality, presentation, and adherence to deadlines.
* Communicate and coordinate with the final document delivery responsible regarding timelines and formats.
* Conduct economic analysis of the bid, including cost studies and comparison of offers, proposing cost-saving measures.
* Submit cost studies to department and project managers.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or similar.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Valuable experience in operation or construction of desalination, wastewater treatment, or drinking water plants.
* Previous experience in contractual management in EPC industrial projects, preferably in the water sector.
* High level of English (C1); intermediate French and Portuguese are a plus.
* Technical knowledge of Microsoft Office, Presto, MS Project, AutoCAD, and water cycle processes.
* Valuable skills in Biowin, EPANET, and postgraduate studies in water cycle management and treatment plant design.
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
* Strong communication skills, initiative, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and team leadership.
