The Regional Quality Systems & Project Manager main responsibility is to provide support on monitoring, controlling and reporting BQ EMEA (*) bakeries’ Quality & Food safety performance and top priorities, compliance status to external and internal standards or requirements and strategic projects / initiatives / action plans. (*) and Bimbo EMEA bakeries producing for QSR.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- KPI’s governance & reporting:
Consolidates, reports and analyzes Quality & Food Safety KPI’s to check against Business Plan objectives and identify top priorities for the bakeries and the region. Monitors progress and close-out of critical action plans from Recall/Withdraw, Top complaints or Internal incidents, Major audits findings.
- Compliance monitoring:
Monitors and communicates on compliance to Customers, Legal as well as Internal BQ-GB Quality & Food Safety requirements and supports on new or updated standards/requirements communication and implementation, as well as investigation of Quality System’s deviation.
- Systems Management & Training:
Provides technical support and on-boarding/refresh training on Customers platforms (McD SIM, OnPoint & Amabis, RBI SPEQ, KFC TraceOne, etc.) or BQ Quality systems (Freshability, Power BI, SPC, etc.) and suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Projects Management:
Manages execution of Customer projects and/or BQ strategic initiatives in accordance with Organization’s Project Management Methodology and tools
- CAPEX monitoring:
Follows Food Safety & Quality CAPEX / Investment execution against Plan and justification for delays/cancellation.
- Document Management:
Manages Quality & Food Safety Document Control & Management System.
- Assist in special data request, organization and presentation of that information. - Assist in internal review, preparing meetings or training materials.

- Data Management and Analysis:
Firm understanding of how to capture, aggregate, analyze, and present data that effectively shows key metrics, performance, and identifies potential issues. Experience in Excel Pivot tables and/or Business Intelligence Tools (Power BI)
- Experience in Project Management:
Familiar with Project Management Tools (Gandt chart, MS TEAMS Planner, MS Smartsheet or other).

Education and Work History:
- 4+ years’ experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry, ideally in Bakeries.
- Knowledge of GMP and Quality & Food Safety Standards.
- Past experience dealing with QSR customers (McDonald’s, RBI, KFC) is a “plus”.
- Language:
Proficiency level in written and spoken English (>
B2), Basic Spanish understanding.
- Training/Other:
GMP, HACCP & Prerequisites (advanced level quite desirable), GFSI certification schemes (FSSC 22000, IFS), Food Manufacturing Processes (Baking desirable), QSR Customers Standards and Platforms.
The base for this position can be anywhere in Continental Europe where BQ or Bimbo has a bakery.
