**Job Description** Employee Development & Management**
- Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the team and responsible for team leadership and tasks such as: attendance/vacation schedule, claims, training coaching and development.
- Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinate work activities with other supervisors.
- Monitor and evaluate team members, and adjust training where needed.
- Attract, retain and develop high potential talent.
- Model and promote the Corporation’s Code of Business Ethics and Values.
- Act as a team role model and change-agent.
- Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals.
- Coordinate team efforts, create and manage a regional strategy and team operating plan.
**Operations**
- Oversee that materials are received, stored, shipped, and reported in accordance with established procedures.
- Furnish reports as needed to forecast estimates and schedules related to inventory, distribution, transportation, and/or production.
- Review effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization, and protection of equipment.
- Support, assist, and complete analyses; analyze information for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure supervised department meets daily/annual goals. Assess and suggest new procedures and processes to increase efficiency.
- Work with other functions to identify opportunities to improve the process effectiveness and improvement plan.
- Perform various activities to backup and maintain the flow of work in the department. Ensure staff is focused on process improvement.
- Proactively communicate supply chain issues and provide alternatives.
- Ensure maintenance of equipment and a safe, clean environment.
- Actively participate in training to expand technical skills and improve services provided.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years SML or related experience. Supervisory or Lead experience preferred.
- Proficient understanding of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of Supply Chain, Materials Management, and Logistics and all related focus areas.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
- Good project management and business partnering skills.
- Green Belt or ELS certification preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Spanish and English
