Application Specialist
Verisure, operating under two brand names (Securitas Direct & Verisure), is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Application Specialist within our Technology Department in Madrid, which can help us achieve our goals.

Key responsibilities
* Efficient collaboration, interaction, troubleshooting and resolution during incident and request management
* Post‑production release verification during/after system releases and data center site switches
* Ensure the environment‑dependent configuration of each application
* Proactively raise improvement actions to be prioritized by the teams based on metrics and monitoring
* Use monitoring to identify potential incidents/issues to be fixed
* Solve incidents and improve software to prevent recurrence
* Proactively address incidents when KPIs indicate a deviation that could provoke an incident
* Identify the necessity of new monitoring, create it, and define automated alerts and escalation processes
* Assist clients with software installation, configuration, and updates
* Document and track support requests, ensuring timely resolution and follow‑up
* Conduct training sessions and create user guides to help partners effectively use our software
* Stay up‑to‑date with the latest software updates and industry trends
* Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve software bugs
Candidate profile Experiences and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in software and applications
* Familiarity with various operating systems and software applications
* Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM and KANBAN)
* Technical background (SQL, HTML, PowerBI or similar)
* Advanced English (minimum B2); knowledge of French, Italian and/or Portuguese an asset
Location
The role will be based in Madrid and report to IT Customer Marketing & CEX Manager.
