Mission
To develop, deliver and maintain the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) throughout the aircraft life cycle, ensuring the fleet remains airworthy and operationally efficient. The role serves as the critical interface between Design Office and customer, analysing engineering data to create precise, compliant maintenance instructions.
Key Experience
* Trigger (ECP/CR/MITB/TN/SB/ASB) analysis, validation and incorporation into technical documentation in accordance with civil specifications.
* Developing through technical knowledge of the aircraft configuration systems the capabilities needed for maintenance concept definition, creation, verification and validation (V&V) of technical documentation.
* Ensuring quality consistency, completeness and on‑time delivery of technical documentation deliverables related to AHEs designated workshare.
* Identifying gaps in Tech Data harmonisation workflows between engineering/Tech Data and IPC/Maintenance Manuals and proposing recoveries.
* Design Office interface from source data needs definition to collection and analysis to check consistency and completeness.
* Impact analysis, authoring and V&V of technical data products (parts catalogue) in compliance with international standards, and managing completeness and compliance to airworthiness legal regulations.
* Providing expertise on documentation specifications to authors to secure production compliance with design standards.
* Follow‑up on subcontractor issues, work packages and topics as point of contact.
* Reporting work progress, escalation of critical issues, and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
* Blocking point analysis and resolution of issues that could halt production.
Key Responsibilities & Success Metrics
* Coordinate and pilot AMM authoring activities per contractual commitments.
* Define consequences of design changes (Modifications, Service Bulletins) on the AMM to enable safe operations.
* Produce and validate Data Modules, strictly complying with ATA standards and Simplified Technical English (ASD‑STE100).
* Provide rapid solutions to customer requests (technical events/queries) with appropriate documentation updates, managing high‑pressure situations such as Aircraft On Ground (AOG) scenarios.
The Profile
Education : Bachelors or Masters in Aeronautical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical field.
Hard Skills
* Proficiency in ATA specifications.
* Knowledge of SAP and Windchill (PLM‑CorePDM) for configuration management.
* Experience with Arbortext Epic (Editor) and CATIA (for 3D verification).
* Familiarity with Google Suite, ATOOL, BFLOW and ICN Tools Box.
Domain Expertise : 3 to 5 years in the Technical Data domain, specifically with strong experience in AMM authoring, technical problem solving and maintenance concept definition.
Soft Skills
* Analytical rigor: ability to analyse complex design inputs and propose synthetic solutions.
* Flexibility: adaptability to urgent customer needs.
* Communication: assertive communication skills to negotiate with Design Office and subcontractors.
* Value‑creation oriented initiative and proactivity.
Languages
* English: Advanced/Fluent (B2 negotiation level) – mandatory.
* German: Desirable/Valuable.
