What you will be doing:
* Review shipment data to understand customer and regulatory requirements, ensuring documentation accuracy and completeness.
* Create accurate and legally compliant clearance declarations using in-house systems.
* Contact customers or government agencies for clarification when needed.
* Resolve routine customer and customs disputes.
* Build effective relationships with customers and advise on the best clearance services.
* Work within tight deadlines in a busy office environment.
What do you bring with you:
* Strong team skills and experience contributing to team performance in a busy office.
* Knowledge of clearance principles, import/export processes, and regulatory requirements; experience with CHIEF entries and commercial flight processing is desirable.
* Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
* Attention to detail and sound numerical decision-making within deadlines.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC skills.
