Your Mission And Responsibilities Will Be
The Accountant manages accounting transactions related to supplier payables.
Responsibilities
1. Check and record daily accounting transactions in the assigned area according to local law and MAF standards.
2. Execute subsequent operations in the account system (payment reconciliation, item clearing, bank account booking, etc.).
3. Prepare balance sheet justification (payables sub-ledger, analytical trend review).
4. Prepare supporting documentation for audits and tax inspections.
5. Communicate with external and internal partners.
6. Declare, explain, and resolve accounting differences with the support of site accounting support, especially for inter-company transactions.
7. Review customer litigations with Site Financial Controllers.
8. Manage first-level overdue recovery.
9. Work with the team to mitigate upcoming overdue risks and resolve overdue issues from previous months.
10. Supervise the customer debit note process.
11. Conduct weekly overdue reviews with the Treasury and Site Financial teams.
12. Verify primary document requirements and supervise customer master data creation and modifications.
13. Archive records properly.
14. Approve E-Proc requests (check account numbers).
15. Continuously improve team performance through lean processes and efficient IS tools, with support from the SSC Finance Process Manager.
16. Contribute to A/R projects.
17. Enhance accounting team performance through lean processes and IS tools, supported by the SSC Finance Process Manager.
18. Support the Group Ethics & Compliance program by adhering to the code of ethics and Valeo’s policies.
