Responsibilities
* Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with the company's quality standards, production requirements, and financial targets.
* Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers capable of delivering premium-grade raw materials, components, and services.
* Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value without compromising on quality.
* Monitor supplier performance through regular reviews, scorecards, and audits.
* Collaborate with production, product development, quality assurance, and finance teams to forecast procurement needs and ensure timely availability of materials.
* Manage procurement budgets and deliver cost savings through strategic sourcing and process optimization.
* Stay informed on commodity market trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging supplier markets.
* Ensure all procurement activities comply with EU regulations, ethical sourcing standards, and company policies.
* Implement and maintain procurement systems and processes to enhance transparency, efficiency, and reporting accuracy.
* Support sustainability objectives by prioritizing responsible sourcing and environmentally conscious suppliers.
* Proven experience in a Procurement or Strategic Sourcing role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in premium, luxury, or high-quality goods.
* Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship skills.
* Solid understanding of commodity markets, pricing dynamics, and supplier risk management.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to balance cost efficiency with quality requirements.
* Experience with ERP and procurement management systems.
* Strong organizational and project management abilities.
* Knowledge of EU procurement regulations, ethical sourcing practices, and sustainability standards.
* CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent procurement certification is a strong advantage.
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
* Fluency in Spanish; strong English skills preferred.
