Key Duties
Conduct research and development in trustworthy AI and robust benchmarking.
Contribute to the execution of funded AI research projects.
Design, implement, and evaluate methods to improve model transparency, safety, and robustness.
Contribute to scientific publications and disseminate results through papers and presentations.
Requirements
Education: Degree in STEM.
Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience:
0‐1 year experience in an AI research institution.
0‐1 year experience with HPC and supercomputing infrastructure.
0‐1 year experience in LLM code generation benchmarking.
Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience:
Experience with Python, PyTorch and vLLM.
Experience with Docker and Git.
Participation on at least one scientific paper.
Competences:
Spanish and English proficiency.
Notions of Catalan will be valued.
Conditions
The position is located at BSC within the Computer Sciences Department.
Full‐time contract (35 h/week) with a highly stimulating environment, flexible working hours, extensive training, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, and support for relocation.
Open‐ended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration.
Holidays: 22 days of holidays + 6 personal days + 24th and 31st of December as per collective agreement.
Salary: Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, according to cost of living in Barcelona.
Starting date: 25/07/2026.
