**General description**:The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking an IT HelpDesk Technician for the IT Unit to cover a paternity leave.Our mission is to lead, from the vantage point of molecular science, cross-strategies for solving major social and economic challenges, such as climate change and sustainable supply of energetic and raw materials, thereby contributing to the establishment of a knowledge-based economy and improving citizens’ quality of life in our influence area.**Responsibilities****Under the supervision of the IT Unit and with the collaboration of IT Team, the applicant responsibilities will include**:- Attention and support (office, over the phone and remote) to all users in level 1 incidents- Hardware and software support on user computers and laboratory equipment computers.- Accounts management in Active Directory, Exchange and Office365. Setting up accounts for new users and deregistration and cancellation of old accounts.- Ticketing tool management for user incidents level 1- Management of orders for computers equipment (keyboards, mice, toners, webcams, cables, etc)- Software installation on user equipment.- Equipment layout- Installation of new workstations and PCs (Windows Workstations, Mac Os Computers)- Inventory of all the workstations at the Institute- IT Support for Seminars, Doctoral Thesis and Multimedia Events- Support, installation and troubleshooting with Laser Printers- Management of the printer’s consumables and toners- Management and maintenance of computer loan and computers in Meeting Rooms- Provide a welcome session, orientation and guidance to new users/workers with their workstations.- Other specific technical tasks.
