SEK International School El Castillo is seeking to incorporate a substitute Art Teacher DP & Bachillerato inmediately.

**Functions**:
- Plan, prepare, develop and deliver lessons in accordance with school curriculum guidelines and requirements, the LOMLOE and IB Diploma Programme (DP).
- Use technology pertinently to support instruction.
- Collaborate with other teachers to review, develop and write new vertical and horizontal curriculum documents, assessment and reporting.
- Keep abreast of international developments in the field, in practice and methodology.
- Observe, monitor and evaluate student learning and progress, maintaining accurate and complete records of academic achievement.
- Prepare assessment tasks and tests, homework and other projects.
- Model classroom inquiry practice and the IB learner profile.
- Differentiate courses of study and lessons to meet the individual needs of diverse students based on their academic ability and prior achievement.
- Communicate student progress and assessments to tutors and/or families.
- Maintain good student behavior in the classroom and on school premises in accordance with disciplinary policies.
- Prepare the classroom environment and maintain a safe, secure, and stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities, as well as other school and institutional events.
- Be willing to participate, cooperate and possibly lead other initiatives in the school related to the development of school culture, leadership among students and promotion of school values, such as projects, field trips, events, as a way to effectively meet the personal, social (wellness) and academic needs of students and staff.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Fine Arts or qualifications related to the plastic or visual arts.
- Master's degree in teaching.
- Previous experience as an Art teacher, experience in Diploma Program or international contexts.
- Level C1 English & Ability to communicate in Spanish
