Experteer Overview
In this role you will integrate radio systems for airborne platforms within Airbus Defence and Space. You will work across multiple aircraft programs, defining architectures, and steering the communications subsystem from design through qualification. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure compliant, high-performance radios. This is a hands-on, multi-platform position with exposure to R&T; and international regulatory standards.

• Integrate radio systems for EF2000 and other Airbus DS platforms (C295, MRTT, A400M, ED, SIRTAP)
• Allocate aircraft requirements to the Communications System
• Define architecture and specifications of the Communications System
• Produce/maintain engineering design documentation
• Oversee design, integration, qualification and certification of the Communications System
• Support feasibility studies for new products and user needs
• Manage supplier technical interfaces
• Support design reviews, customer meetings, and certification/qualification processes
• Contribute to Technical Publications (AFM, FCOM, etc.) and cross-functional areas (Services, Production, Procurement)
• Plan and support test campaigns, procedures and facilities; analyze test results in real time
• Contribute to R&T; programs related to SDR/SCA Radios
• Maintain awareness of international regulations (ICAO, FAA, EASA, EUROCONTROL)
Responsabilidades
• Telecommunications Engineering degree or equivalent
• 3 years in systems engineering or avionics systems development
• Good knowledge of communication functions on multiple platforms
• Background in Inmarsat/Iridium Satcom, Radios (V/UHF, VHF, HF), Civil Datalink (FANS, CPDLC)
• International project experience
• Strong English and Spanish skills
• Good communication and proactive problem-solving approach
• Ability to work under strict timescales in a multifunctional team
