Based in Berlin, Audible is looking for a Manager Publisher Relations – FR. You will build relationships, initiate and conduct negotiations for audiobook acquisitions from book and audiobook publishers, with a focus on French language publishers. This position will be responsible for a wide variety of relationships, negotiations, catalogue performance of our European audiobook publishing partners, to help delivering the leading spoken word catalogue for our French audiences.
This position is open through a 24-month contract.
As a Manager Publisher Relations – France, you will:
Develop the quality and productivity of relationships with audiobook publishing houses and book publishers which are assigned to you
Help to structure, initiate, and conduct negotiations for deals with as part of the day‐to‐day relations with your key publishing partners
Support the European content acquisition teams by negotiating deals with different European rightsholders, according to evolving business needs
Be the first point of contact for external requests and support the team with various administrative and project‐related tasks as well as presentations – e.g. business review
Leverage performance data, key business drivers, and market trends to guide French language catalogue expansion, and support teams in securing the strongest content for our customers
Partner closely with the local European and global Audible teams to foster synergies and efficiencies across our Publisher Relations efforts to serve our European audiences and publishers

Basic Qualifications
Master's degree or above in relevant field
Relevant experience in international intellectual property rights licensing businesses (preferable from the wider media, television, film or computer game industry).
Business fluency in written and verbal French and English, additional European languages are a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels
Experience working in a fast‐paced, rapidly changing operations environment
Ability to communicate clearly, calm and business goal oriented, also in difficult negotiations and under narrow timelines.
Willingness to travel internationally for business
