Key Responsibilities
Work independently and collaboratively with teams across Music, Amazon, and third‑party partners to architect and develop large‑scale solutions that delight customers through voice and visual experiences.
Build and maintain distributed systems that span mobile apps, web player, and voice‑forward audio engagement on devices such as the Amazon Echo.
Coach and mentor other engineers, develop engineering and operational processes, and foster a culture of excellence.
Own end‑to‑end delivery of new features and products with high impact and high visibility.
Design and scale reliable systems, applying design patterns, ensuring reliability, and optimizing for performance.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
3+ years of iOS development experience.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Benefits & Compensation The base salary for this position ranges from 168,100.00 to 227,400.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), with final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
