Your Tasks
As a Senior UX/UI Designer at MediaMarktSaturn, your main responsibility is to drivethe product design process through its different iterative stages. Thereby, you willwork in close collaboration with products teams, product owners and stakeholders tothoroughly understand and identify the problem and opportunities. You will beguiding the product teams towards effective solution considering the user and business needs, and uplevel our processes in an environment of user research, dataanalysis and constant testing. In summary you will be responsible for:
Develop a high class user interface design for MediaMarkt and Saturn Products & Applications - for customer and colleaguesShape the product strategy together with our product owners and drive its implementation in collaboration with our product teamsBeing close to business and support from design and ideation phases till going liveDesign complex user flows and customer journeysDrive the iterative design process of product features from end-to-end, includingideation, sketching, mockups, low- & high fidelity prototyping, user testing,interaction concepts and final UI designExcellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints andlimitationsAbility to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features, all with auser-centered design process, informed by data, brand positioning, user researchand accessibilityBring consistency of visual language to all our platforms and touch points of ourproducts while considering the specificity of the environment and the brandResearch and observe the impact of our work, while constantly improving itFind simple solutions for complex requirementsIntegrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing productDemonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts thought story tellingCreate and define hypotheses, KPIs and their measurements to conclude on bestnext stepsYour Profile
Required studies and competences.Ideally you have a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree in design (or similar)You have several years of experience in UX / UI design, focus on service design in afast-paced environment.You have strong experience in using common design and prototyping programs(Figma, Adobe CC, Axure, Framer, Flare, Principle, etc.)You enjoy collaborating and working in a cross-functional, multidisciplinary team.You have a basic knowledge in programming (preferred).You enjoy working in a strong and international team.You enjoy innovating around tools and process.You like to take a senior role in our design team, including regular reviews andfeedback as well as coaching of junior team members.You are able to work in deadlines to help the team launch MVPs quickly, while testhypotheses to work on further iterations.You have an impressive portfolio showcasing both conceptual interaction designwork as well as a clear understanding of typography, simplicity and visual design.Ideally you have additional skills in illustrations, animation and icon design.You have very good English skills with an ability to articulate in both written andspoken languageAbout Us
