This is a pivotal leadership role within their Finance, Risk & Compliance (FRC) practice.The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and expanding the Financial Risk practice, leading high-impact engagements, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior executives across top-tier financial institutions.This is an exceptional opportunity for an executive with strategic vision, deep technical expertise in financial risk, strong commercial acumen, and proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership- Define and execute the strategy for the Financial Risk practice.- Develop differentiated service lines and innovative value propositions.- Promote technical, methodological, and technological excellence within the risk function.Client Relationship Management- Act as the senior point of contact for the banks, driving the relationship and identifying new growth opportunities.- Strengthen the firm’s presence across other major banksProject & Delivery Leadership- Lead and oversee high-impact financial risk engagements, with a focus on:- Credit Risk: lifecycle (origination, monitoring, recovery), IRB/IFRS 9 models, credit parameter estimation.- Regulatory and Economic Capital- Cross-risk frameworks: risk appetite, stress testing, ICAAP, governance.- Ensure excellence in project delivery, stakeholder management, and quality assurance.- Desirable: experience or familiarity with enablers such as generative AI, machine learning, model risk management (MRM), automation, data governance, or cloud analytics.Business Development- Identify and pursue growth opportunities across existing and new clients.- Lead end-to-end commercial processes, including needs assessment, solution design, pricing, and negotiation.- Represent the firm in industry forums, events, and thought leadership initiatives.People & Practice Development- Support and grow a team of specialists in financial risk.- Mentor, coach, and develop talent at various levels.- Participate in recruitment and capability-building initiatives.Candidate Profile- 10–12+ years of experience in financial risk consulting or senior roles within the risk function of a financial institution.- Deep expertise in financial risk management, particularly credit risk.- Proven experience managing senior executive relationships in banking- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of generating business.- Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams.- Strategic thinker with strong executive presence.- High level of English.What Our Client Offers- A leadership role within a high-visibility, high-impact practice.- Access to major transformation programs with leading financial institutions.- A collaborative, international, and innovation-driven environment.- A competitive executive compensation package.
