We are looking for Researchers, Industrial or Mining Engineers to support Steelmaking, Casting & Scrap team in the field of green steel production route, projects related to scrap characterization, electric routes and casting processes support through the implementation of new technologies in industrial environment. We also look for profiles with project management skils.
This research engineer will be involved in steel process transformation by leading projects and giving support to the plants to implement the most suitable solutions. This person will also interact with the whole ArcelorMittal community: Integral R&D; specialists and technicians, plant experts, corporate teams, etc. and develop collaborative research with external partners (academic laboratories, technical centers, suppliers).
Steelmaking, Casting & Scrap Area is one R&D; department alignment with ArcelorMittal objectives to ensure tomorrow steel production, focused on new green routes, scrap optimized use, new technologies in electric routes as well as to enhance steel processes developing the most suitable solutions involved in general research projects.
**What we will need**
- **Education**: Master in Industrial Engineering / Mining Engineering / Material Engineering.
- Industrial Profile with high level of interest in technology.
- Project management skills.
- Competencies on steel production routes and material sciences.
