Job Summary This role manages procurement activities globally, develops category-specific processes, and leads sustainability and diversity initiatives with key suppliers. The Global Category Manager collaborates with stakeholders and regional procurement teams. Responsibilities Define and implement sourcing strategies for travel, uniforms, protective equipment, and general services. Identify stakeholders, advise, influence, and collaborate in a matrix organization. Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and negotiate contracts. Support vendor qualification and conduct market analyses. Lead Category Councils and develop sourcing strategies. Negotiate contracts, monitor KPIs, and ensure service levels and ESG compliance. Build consensus with stakeholders and manage costs and savings initiatives. Support the Head of Indirect Procurement with category analysis. Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in Procurement, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Global Category or Vendor Manager in relevant sourcing projects. Proven track record of cost savings and project management. Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work in multicultural environments and matrix organizations. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
