The role supports the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Enerpac’s global trade compliance program and ensures adherence to import/export regulations, export controls, sanctions, and customs requirements. /p pYou will manage day-to-day trade compliance activities, provide guidance to business units, collaborate with customs brokers and service providers, and ensure accurate trade data within business systems. /p h3Job Duties And Responsibilities /h3 ul liAct as regional subject matter expert for international trade compliance and provide guidance to business units. /li liManage day-to-day import and export customs formalities and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. /li liSupport sanctions, embargo and restricted party screening programs and resolve potential matches. /li liClassify products (HS codes, ECN, export control jurisdiction) and maintain accurate master data in Oracle GTM. /li liApply for, manage and maintain export licenses and authorizations. /li liDetermine and maintain country of origin and preferential trade agreement status. /li liCollaborate with and oversee customs brokers and external trade service providers. /li liMonitor trade compliance data and activities within business systems and support customs valuation priorities. /li liDeliver trade compliance training and communicate policies, procedures and controls. /li liIdentify compliance risks, improvement opportunities and regulatory changes. /li liSupport internal and external audits. /li liEnsure compliance with HSSE rules and company policies. /li /ul h3Skills And Competencies /h3 ul liStrong knowledge of international trade compliance regulations. /li liExperience with import/export operations and customs requirements. /li liUnderstanding of export controls, sanctions and embargo regulations. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with Excel analytics is a plus. /li liKnowledge of IT coding / data is a plus. /li liHigh attention to detail and accuracy. /li liAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment. /li liStrong communication and stakeholder management skills. /li liExperience working with ERP and trade compliance systems (Oracle GTM preferred). /li liAbility to work independently on a local site, while working with a global team. /li liProactive, independent and structured working style. /li /ul h3Education And Experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant direction (e.g., supply chain, law, international business administration). /li liMinimum of 7 years of relevant experience in international trade compliance. /li liExperience within complex international supply chains and technical product environments. /li liExcellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
