Mission & Core Purpose
We're looking for a brilliant and motivated Outbound Business Development Representative to help us open the US market through a highly targeted outbound strategy, strictly focused on Enterprise strategic clients.
You will report to our Senior VP Strategic Accounts & Partners and will be responsible for initiating outbound first contact with Enterprise prospects, generating qualified opportunities, and assigning them to the Sales team for further steps.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Senior VP Strategic Accounts & Partners by generating qualified outbound opportunities and keeping a steady Enterprise pipeline active;
- Reaching out to Enterprise prospects through cold calls, and turning first conversations into wellqualified meetings;
- Using LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify key stakeholders, and run targeted cold outreach (cold mailing) that gets replies;
- Contributing to the expansion into new markets, with a strong focus on the US, by building early traction through outbound initiatives;
- Understanding prospects' needs and challenges to qualify leads as Enterprise opportunities and ensure a smooth handover for deal closing.
Your Profile
You're a confident, proactive communicator who enjoys outbound and knows how to turn a cold contact into a real business conversation.
You're motivated by results, comfortable working with targets, and you stay persistent and positive even when the \"no's\" show up.
Experience & Skills
At least 3 years of experience in Outbound Business Development roles with a focus on Enterprise clients, or in other similar roles (e.g., Lead Development Representative, or Demand Generation Rep);
Experience with cold calling, cold mailing, and outbound prospecting, with the ability to turn first touches into qualified meetings;
Full professional proficiency in English (for this role, a first language-level in US English is a hard requirement);
Experience using CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot), Sales engagement platforms (e.g. Outreach, Salesloft, or Lemlist), and Sales supporting tools (e.g. Zoominfo, Lusha, or Apollo);
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a confident and professional tone when speaking to stakeholders.
Location
At iubenda we believe in remote-first work.
While you can work from anywhere in Mauritius, we encourage regular in-person collaboration at our Port Louis office, typically once per week.
This role involves working with the team on CET hours, meaning your schedule will align with this time zone to ensure smooth collaboration.
