ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Trade Finance for Investment Banking Associate based in Boadilla del Monte (Madrid) to join Santander's Global Transaction Banking division. With 2‐5 years of experience, you will support senior members on marketing, structuring and execution of trade finance transactions linked to M&A, Project Financing and Private Equity portfolio companies.RESPONSIBILITIES Support senior members in marketing, structuring and executing trade finance transactions for our clients in the broader investment banking context.Gradually develop the ability to lead transaction execution.Monitor the pipeline of transactions and track income generation and capital consumption across the division.Provide up‐to‐date market trends, relevant events and pricing intelligence.QUALIFICATIONS 2‐5 years of experience in the international financial services industry, including Trade Finance, Project Finance or Leverage Finance.University degree in Finance, Business or Economics;
Master's degree, MBA orCFA preferred.Proficient in English;
Spanish proficiency preferred.Strong financial analysis, Excel, PowerPoint and generative AI skills;
financial modelling skills preferred.Presentation and communication skills;
commercial acumen;
