NoOffer DescriptionThe RoleAs our Grant Writer & European Project Manager, you will play a key role in securing and delivering European research and innovation projects. Your background knowledge in areas such as nature based solutions, soil health, sustainable agriculture, rural community dynamics and/or social drivers for change will contribute to SAE's mission to unlock regenerative food systems. You will lead proposal development from early concept notes to full submissions, coordinate international consortia, and ensure projects are implemented with clarity, rigour, and impact.What you’ll do- Lead the end-to-end development of funding proposals, from concept note to full submission.- Target and shape proposals for European and international calls, with a focus on programmes such as Horizon Europe (Mission Soil, Cluster 6).- Co-design project objectives with domain experts and translate them into clear work plans, budgets, and narratives.- Build and coordinate multi-actor consortia (researchers, companies, farmers, public bodies).- Support project implementation, governance, reporting, and compliance once projects are awarded.- Ensure project outcomes translate into tangible tools, practices, and impact in the field.About youWe are looking for a strategic professional with a deep understanding of the European funding landscape.- Demonstrable experience in writing, managing, and following up European and international projects.- Proven ability to write proposals independently and in full, in English, from concept note through final submission.- Excellent writing, planning, and coordination skills.- Comfortable working with diverse international stakeholders and complex project structures.- Background or strong knowledge in agronomy, soil science, agri-food systems, sustainability, or related fields is highly valued.- Systems thinking combined with a pragmatic, delivery-oriented mindset.- Having a full professional proficiency in English is mandatory. Spanish is required for internal teamcommunication.Requirements and role details- Location : Hybrid role based in Murcia, Spain.
