PMO / Sr. Project Manager
The Project Manager-PMO provides strategic leadership for complex, high-impact initiatives within Group Human Resources. Joining a small, high-performing Group HR team, the role carries the mandate to build and strategically anchor a new PMO, accountable for the end-to-end delivery of integration and future-focused initiatives across multiple workstreams.
Acting as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, the role ensures alignment with corporate priorities, robust governance, and the realisation of measurable business value, while positioning the PMO as a central enabler for the HR divisions.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project Leadership
Own the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-stream HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and business priorities.
Provide strategic direction, structure, and oversight across project portfolios, balancing scope, value, risk, and investment.
Ensure sustainable delivery outcomes through effective prioritization and sequencing of initiatives.
Governance, Decision-Making Control
Establish and enforce robust governance models, decision forums, and escalation paths.
Ensure consistent application of project management standards, methodologies, and quality criteria.
Maintain executive-level transparency on progress, risks, dependencies, and value realization.
Risk, Change Dependency Management
Anticipate and manage strategic risks, cross-project dependencies, and organizational impacts.
Lead complex change and trade-off discussions with sponsors and senior stakeholders.
Drive timely decisions to protect delivery commitments and business outcomes.
Stakeholder Executive Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and senior sponsors.
Align diverse stakeholder interests across HR, IT, Finance, Legal Compliance, and Business Units.
Shape and steer communication at executive level to enable informed decision-making.
Resource, Portfolio Capability Management
Oversee resource and capacity planning across initiatives to optimize utilization and delivery resilience.
Contribute to portfolio-level planning and prioritization within GHR.
Build and mature project management capabilities, tools, and ways of working across the function.
Business Value Orientation
Translate strategic business objectives into executable delivery roadmaps.
Ensure projects deliver measurable outcomes, benefits, and long-term value.
Continuously improve delivery effectiveness and execution excellence within GHR.

Experience creating a PMO
The Project Manager-PMO should have:
Experience Expertise
Deep expertise in project and delivery management frameworks (e.g. IPMA, SAFe).
Hands-on integration experience and a proven track record of working effectively in complex, international environments
Extensive experience leading complex, cross-functional, and transformation-focused initiatives.
Strong background in governance design, executive reporting, and portfolio oversight.
Proven experience in integration and enterprise-scale change initiatives.
Demonstrated success in managing senior stakeholders and executive decision processes.
Leadership Professional Skills

Strong strategic thinking combined with disciplined execution.
