Responsibilities
- Perform people management activities (assist team members with goal setting and personal development;
organize regular follow-ups and performance reviews;
share feedback and manage conflicts)
- Partner with others in the company to deliver large-scale, client-facing initiatives and focused work
- Encourage Agile behaviors, reinforce practices, norms, and ceremonies, and support overall team performance
- Identify team improvement opportunities and look externally for best practices to support continuous improvement
- Lead and coordinate logistics for team ceremonies and practices to enhance the product delivery experience for client-facing initiatives
- Ensure all work is tracked in the backlog and accurately balanced across all respective team members
- Drive a collaborative and supportive team culture through team building and engagement practices
- Maintain and update team performance metrics and artifacts to ensure accurate and clear feedback to team members and clarity to other partners
- Assist the Product Manager (PM) and Product Owners (POs) with the creation of the project roadmap and timeline
- Assist the team in the execution of work, ensuring delivery on time
- Remove impediments and roadblocks for the team
- Keep Azure DevOps up to date for metric measuring
- Coach the team(s) to practice agile processes
- Work with two scrum teams (one team of up to 10 people)
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation, including SOPs (procedures, work instructions, etc.) for the processes
- Review work outcomes each week alongside the PM and POs to update the timeline
- Monitor the roadmap (in Azure DevOps) to ensure work output aligns with the client-discussed roadmap
- Work alongside the team to assist in the execution of work to improve delivery and performance
Your profile
- Proven People Management experience
- A highly collaborative leader who can advise, mentor, coach, and train colleagues
- Skilled at ensuring value delivery in an agile structure
- Capable of applying and embedding best agile principles, processes, and practices
- Background in software development or engineering, enabling active participation in technical discussions, and constructively challenging technical choices
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams that include process engineers, software developers, and researchers
- Comfortable bridging the gap between agile coaching and hands-on delivery support in a technical environment
- Strong facilitation skills for team ceremonies and cross-team collaboration
- Able to maintain clear, accurate documentation and performance metrics
- Proficient in tools such as Azure DevOps for backlog management, roadmap tracking, and performance measurement
