Our Falces manufacturing site, located in Navarra, Spain, is a manufacturing hub for producing core materials used in wind, marine, and industrial applications. Purpose of the function
The ideal candidate will own the entire production process to guarantee the demand of our clients, accomplishing the deadlines and specifications.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the production department at Gurit Falces.
* Manage optimally the necessary resources in production.
* Achieve production targets in terms of volumes, delivery to customers on time, efficiency, waste and quality.
* Ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of methodologies and work processes, yielding results for:
o Safety Improvement
o Reduction of Production Variance/Scrap
o Quality Improvement (internal and external)
o Improvement of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of machines and processes
* Calculation and optimization of production capacities.
* Implement and develop the Gurit Safety culture in the shopfloor.
* Responsible for the weekly scheduling production plan.
* Ensure that all personnel under his/her supervision have the necessary training to perform their job duties.
* Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders
* Proven experience in production management/supervision, within manufacturing environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet or exceed deadlines and objectives.
* Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
* Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams.
* Fluent in English and Spanish.
* Experience: 10+ years of production management experience.
