Job Description
- Guarantee the conformity of a product/service to the requirements specified by our customers, and support On Quality, On Time and On Cost delivery by delivering right first time to increase customer loyalty.
- Lead and drive the resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects by setting the measurement standards and identifying/facilitating improvements to increase:
- Process performance and product adherence to standards
- Reliability of processes
- Repeatability of processes
- Deliver quality improvement, preventive and corrective strategy, plans and actions (CnQ, Q plan, control plan, audit & operational surveillance plan…)
- Ensure all products, assemblies, and processes meet the applicable aerospace standards
- Conduct internal audits and operational surveillance to ensure conformity to Quality Management Systems requirements and production. Ensure adherence to Quality processes and standards
- Support external audits from regulatory agencies, and certification bodies
- Present risk analysis and mitigation strategies in line with continuous improvement plans and implementation reports
- Lead investigations into non‑conforming material, quality escapes, and production discrepancies. Manage Root Cause and Corrective and Preventive Action.
Experience
- Minimum of 1‑2 years in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Preferred: proven experience with aerospace Quality standards (ISO 9100).
Skills & Competencies
- Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
- Experience: At least 1‑2 years in the Aerospace industry.
- Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode.
- Languages: Spanish and English mandatory. German is a plus.
- Valuable / nice to have: experience as an intern at Airbus would be highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace industry regulations and Quality control standards.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills (PPS, 5Whys, 8D) with a strong focus on data‑driven decision‑making.
- Experience with Quality improvement methodologies (e.G., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen).
- Leadership and team management skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with regulators, customers, and internal teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Airbus Internship will be a plus.
