Overview
Assistant Store Director – Commercial Area for a retail company preparing a new high‑volume store opening in Torrevieja.
The selected person will join the store management team, taking direct responsibility for the commercial activity on the sales floor and playing a key role in achieving results from the very beginning of the project.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial activity within the store, ensuring the correct execution of campaigns, promotions, and commercial actions.
- Manage product implementation, displays, and replenishment, optimizing category rotation and performance.
- Monitor commercial KPIs (sales, margin, average ticket, stock rotation) and make decisions focused on improving results.
- Coordinate section managers, ensuring commercial objectives and store standards are met.
- Guarantee a customer experience aligned with the company’s standards.
- Support the Store Director in both commercial and operational decision‑making.
- Participate in team planning and organization.
- Supervise the correct operation of the store in terms of order, product availability, and visual presentation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a large retail environment, managing turnover above €8–10M.
- Previous experience in retail in positions with store responsibility (Assistant Manager, Department Manager, or similar).
- Experience working with commercial KPIs and business performance indicators.
- Commercial mindset with strong day‑to‑day decision‑making skills.
- Experience managing and coordinating teams.
- High level of English (C1–C2 mandatory).
- Experience in high‑volume retail or large‑format stores will be highly valued.
