Role

The Commercial Account Manager is the person in charge of building, managing and maintaining a long-term relationship with B2B customers to improve the awareness of the company in this market share.

The goal is to open new B2B accounts, therefore the B2B account manager will be in charge of finding new business opportunities, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof. Tasks may involve project management, strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing actions.

Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of B2B accounts and reach the company's target

- Identify new sales opportunities within existing B2B accounts to retain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling

- Manage and solve conflicts with clients: The Account Manager is expected to have specific information regarding daily operations of the Company and keep the Client updated.

- Interact and coordinate with the account team and other staff members in other departments working on the same account

- Establish budgets with the client and company

- Meet time deadlines for accounts

Qualifications

- Competencies

- Set the example by actively contributing to department and company goals

- Take initiative and seek additional training or direction as needed.

- Build quality into work. Ensure processes are consistent with quality objectives.

- Develop and achieve departmental/company goals and controls. Make suggestions for improvement in areas of processes.

- Attributes

-Strategic thinking and planning

-Attention to details, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.

-Stress tolerance

-Using logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.

- Knowledge

-Understanding of ERP system and Microsoft Office products especially Excel worksheet; strong computer skills.

-Negotiating skills

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.

- Experience:

-5+ years of experience in a job in the IT market as B2B account manager.

Education

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
