OverviewCountry Manager Iberia based in Barcelona, responsible for representing PrestaShop in Spain and Portugal with a mission to increase brand awareness, grow the merchant base, and identify strategic local partnerships that position PrestaShop as the preferred e-commerce solution in the region. The Country Manager will report to the VP Merchant Sales, based in France.
Responsibilities
Execute the sales and go-to-market strategy in Iberia, driving revenue growth on PrestaShop's strategic revenue lines, and coordinating a team of 3 (1 based in Madrid, 2 based in France).
Develop our ecosystem of PrestaShop Agencies and identify partnerships with local web agencies and freelance developers to grow our international network of certified web agencies and expand the merchant base.
Identify potential local partnerships across verticals (payments, logistics, marketplaces, hosting, product reviews, etc.), contact and facilitate contract execution to support the business development teams.
Manage top ecommerce merchant relations and acquire new ones.
Collaborate with Marketing to develop brand awareness, manage relationships with local community forums, organize community meetups, and communicate PrestaShop news to local press (specialized and general).
Organize local events to establish PrestaShop as a leader in the local e-commerce landscape.
Coordinate localization of the software by contributing translations in the relevant language and identifying functional enhancements to meet local demands and regulations.
Represent the voice of the customer internally to influence the Product roadmap.
Draft weekly and monthly reports detailing actions taken, partners, agencies and prospective clients contacted, and results achieved.
Implement internal controls to identify and mitigate execution risks and prevent failures.
Play a central role in anticipating and facilitating PrestaShop's commercial transformation, acting as PrestaShop spokesperson in the assigned countries.
Requirements
8-10 years of experience in sales and sales leadership, with strong proven experience in business development, partner activation, and distribution channel development in the tech/digital/ecommerce sector.
Proven track record of delivering results.
Experience in managing a team and collaborating with internal teams (product, marketing, finance, technology) to drive program execution and partner experience in an international and matrix environment.
Customer-oriented, analytical, and proactive problem-solving approach.
Thorough and methodical attention to detail.
Excellent storytelling skills to drive change through written, verbal, and presentation formats.
Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.
Master's Degree required.
