Role
The Cyber Security Program Manager for EU Markets is accountable for coordinating cyber security delivery activities for the relevant countries and operating companies, including engaging the local cyber and technology teams, and driving implementation or remediation actions across multiple markets. They will report to the Head of CyberSecurity EU Markets. They will provide support to the security leads in the local markets within the EU markets, and manage concurrent priorities with the central Cyber team. Their primary role is to set clear planning and action delivery of the programs they are responsible for. They will also act as an interface between central teams and local markets, facilitating queries and reporting on progress updates for security control improvement programmes. They will provide a consolidated view to top management of status from each market, highlighting interdependencies and issues common across multiple markets, and provide proposals for overcoming delivery risks and creating efficiencies across markets. They will provide support to unblock
common issues or delivery problems across markets and engage the vertical technology teams where needed to speed up solutioning. They will have strong knowledge of cyber security controls, processes and technologies. They will have strong experience in project planning and delivery tracking. They will have experience communicating with stakeholders from diverse areas of the organisation, and be able to influence the business to make sure security is prioritised and understood.
What you’ll do
For the role we are looking for candidates with a broad range of skills.
The responsibilities include:
* Continuous monitoring of local market security improvement actions, tracking status and escalating issues to relevant stakeholders.
* Build strong and effective relationships with local security leadership, Group leadership and key business stakeholders.
* Support the delivery of cyber security improvement projects in local markets by interacting with and managing concurrent priorities.
* Provide guidance to security and technology staff on security controls good practice, coordinate knowledge sharing between EU Markets teams.
* Drive progress on key cyber security initiatives in the Cyber Center of Excellence.
* Coordinate weekly meetings with EU Cluster Heads of Cyber.
* Support budget clarifications related to Cyber Security Baseline initiatives.
* Promote re-use of tools and processes across the cluster markets.
What you bring
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex security matters in simple business language.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity threats and the capability to assess business impact.
* Decision-making skills with the ability to balance conflicting interests.
* Strong collaboration skills harnessed towards delivering the right outcomes for Vodafone and our customers.
* Attention to detail, strong analytical skills and efficient problem-solving capability.
* Good stakeholder management skills, ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
* Degree, professional qualification or relevant experience in Cyber & Information Security.
* Technical capability and knowledge as SME for Security in IT and Networks.
