Newton Ingenieros, an engineering company founded in 1985 and based in Tarragona, is expanding its team to take part in a high-impact project: the complete renovation of production process, utilities, and storage facilities at one of the region’s major chemical plants.
We are looking for an engineer with some experience working in the industrial sector, preferably in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or oil & gas. A professional eager to work and grow, integrating into the team that will bring to life a complex, large-scale project from within, participating as support across different disciplines, departments, and project stages (demolition, civil works, mechanical, equipment, electrical installations, control systems, and commissioning).
Profile-
* Education : Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial Engineering or similar.
* Experience : Young professional with a minimum of 2 years working in a chemical plant or engineering company within the industrial sector (chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, energy, etc.).
* Technical skills :
* Autocad 2D (required).
* Autocad Plant 3D (a plus).
* MS Project and MS Office.
* Languages : High level of Spanish and English (required).
Main responsabilities
* Support the project team in:
* Plant and installation design.
* Equipment specification.
* Documentation management.
* Preparation of contractual and permitting documentation.
* Monitoring works and contracts of subcontractors.
* Project scheduling.
* Other related project tasks.
