The Role

Veeva Systems is seeking a driven, self-motivated Leader eager to gain exposure to a critical growth industry in Life Sciences, with a passion for empowering a team of professionals working closely with pharma and biotech companies using best-of-breed cloud-based technology.
As a Team Manager, you will manage and grow our Lead Consultant practice in Europe and support the Enterprise Application Management Programs for R&D, aiming to develop sustainable and scalable enterprise application management services for our largest and most complex cloud customers.
Veeva’s Development Cloud helps organizations eliminate silos and transform business processes across clinical operations, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, and quality management with greater efficiency and compliance.
This is a remote, full-time role with occasional travel to a Veeva office or event. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in Europe. Veeva Systems does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visas for this position.
What You'll Do
* Lead a customer-facing team, including resource planning, oversight, and professional development of direct reports
* Ensure our offerings are sustainable and aligned with customer interests
* Collaborate with R&D Services Practice Leads and Account Partners to ensure the right talent is driving and delivering programs
* Oversee program execution and monitor progress, including managing relationships with executives
* Plan and oversee new offerings and the customer pipeline in Europe
* Ensure service delivery aligns with program standards
* Contribute to internal initiatives and operations of the EAM business to enhance global workflows
Requirements
* 7+ years in IT Project Management, Support, Consulting, or Product Management
* 5+ years in Operational or Support Leadership, with experience building and managing teams
* 2+ years managing cross-functional teams or managers
* Proven success in implementing IT solutions and managing IT operations as a consultant, analyst, or lead, with technical affinity and hands-on experience
* Ability to handle customer escalations, negotiate agreements, and ensure Customer Success
* Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments
* Excellent communication skills in English
* University degree or equivalent experience
Nice to Have
* Understanding of SaaS and GxP principles
* Experience in Transition Management and Program Governance
* Experience in Pharma Quality, Clinical, Regulatory, or Safety spaces
* Experience with Data or Content Management applications
* Familiarity with systems like Veeva Vault, Documentum, D2, and others listed
* Fluency in additional European languages
* Home location in Hungary or Poland
