Great and passionate people who collaborate, support and complement each other's skills.**We are one of Europe's leading low-cost airlines, with special relevance in the Spanish domestic market, as well as in France and Italy.****Job Purpose**Lead financial and business analysis of all airport-related operations across Vueling's ground services network in alignment with internal budgeting processes, contractual agreements and corporate performance frameworks in order to improve cost efficiency, ensure operational and supplier performance as well as to support data-driven strategicdecisions.**Main Accountabilities**- Ensure early detection of underperformance, facilitate the issuance of performance letters, and support financial claims or penalties based on contract breaches.- Ensure financial discipline, validate that forecasted savings are achieved, and provide granular insights into budget deviations, including invoice-level investigations.- Identify inefficiencies or non-requested services, detect billing errors or operational excesses, and implement corrective actions.- Evaluate and quantify the economic impact, return on investment, and operational implications of initiatives (e.G. reducing manpower based on luggage volumes, changing commission schemes) to internal committees and airport managers.- Reduce data discrepancies, ensure consistent performance measurement, and align reporting with operational decision-making needs.- Deliver clear and compelling insights that enable senior management to make informed decisions, particularly in monthly closings, strategic reviews, and VIC meetings.- Deliver data-driven insights such as historical spend and cost simulations, enabling better commercial terms and proactive renewal planning for upcoming contracts.- Address the department’s high cost-reduction pressure by generating new initiatives and supporting ongoing transformation efforts.**Main Responsibilities**- Analyse supplier performance through KPI and SLA monitoring, including operational metrics such as lost luggage, punctuality, safety, and cost indicators.- Contribute to internal savings validation by reviewing airport invoices, identifying billing errors, and proposing corrective actions- Identify EBIT and cost-saving opportunities and support monthly budget closings in coordination with Finance, identifying variances and validating financial impacts.- Lead the “additionals control” project, focusing on variable costs from ground handling services across all airports, especially services beyond the base contract.- Prepare and support the development of business cases for new airport-related projects and innovations, such as kiosk implementation or ancillary service expansion.- Support contract-related processes in coordination with the Procurement team (SPM), providing analytical input before and during negotiations.- Prepare, validate and interpret the accuracy and relevance of monthly KPI as well as reports in collaboration with the Data team, and contribute to the definition of future performance targets.- Prepare executive-level presentations on supplier and operational performance, emerging trends, and business opportunities, using tools such as Tableauand Excel.- Support internal communication and reporting related to ground operations projects involving third parties (e.G. commercial initiatives with ground agents).**Main Relationships**- Airport Managers- Data Specialists- Airport Innovation Specialist- Procurement- Finance- Commercial- Customer development- Airport business Support- Suppliers/Ground Handling**Education**- University degree preferably in Engineering (with Aeronautical Engineering being highly valued), Industrial Engineering or similar technical disciplines with financial focus.- Strong financial and operational knowledge, particularly in Cost control and tracking against budget.- Strong knowledge in savings validation and financial deviation analysis.- Knowledge in preparation and evaluation of business cases for investments or process changes- Familiarity with airport operations and ground handling service models, including fixed vs. variable (additional) cost structures.- Deep Knowledge in Excel and data visualisation and dashboarding tools (e.G., Tableau)**Experience**- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in roles that involve financialanalysis, business case preparation, supplier performance monitoring, or contractsupport is mandatory.- Experience within the aviation sector is highly desirable, especially in areas related to airport
