Join us!Your role as a Site Construction ManagerKey responsibilities:The Site Construction Manager will possess all skills & experience to plan and supervise a wide range of (general) Contractors & personnel from start to finish. You will actively help the contractors organize and manage construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a safe, timely and efficient manner. A Construction Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the desired results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and good organizational skills and will have at least ten years’ experience in a similar role. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.What will you do?Organize and supervise the overall work on site of the project and provide direction and guidance when neededEnsure compliance on site with safety, health, and quality standardsEnsure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, inspections, and governmental regulations are metSet performance goals and deadlines for the different contractorsPlan, monitor and ensure proper timely execution of all construction operations, including intermediate phases to ensure accomplishment of project goalsSupport design consultants / team to develop all required scope of work documents including but not limited to drawings, specifications, guidelines and standardsAssist in the creation of all required project schedules, evaluate progress, and present detailed schedule reportsSupport utility coordination and applicationsSupport the project team in solicitation and procurement of subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and materialsSupport the submittal processSupport the change management processEnsure the implementation of project specific quality control and quality assurance plans in accordance with corporate policyPerform due diligence and entitlement duties as requiredSupport in obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities as requiredBuild and maintain market relevant relationshipsSupervise and mentor subordinate staff and provide constructive feedbackResolve on-site issues and emergenciesIdentify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings, and facilitating cooperation among contractors and vendorsExperience and qualifications:Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical EngineeringAt least 5 years of relevant experienceEvidence of a strong background in Construction ManagementWilling to be on site full timeComfortable working in a dynamic work environmentIn-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principlesFamiliarity with quality and health and safety standardsWorking knowledge of MS OfficeFamiliarity with scheduling software such as P6 and Microsoft ProjectOutstanding communication and negotiation skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsSelf-Starter with ability to identify and execute normal project management dutiesA team player with leadership abilitiesNative Spanish languagePlease note the exact location of the project is Noblejas, Toledo.
