THE CONTEXT
My client, an European fintech scale-up that simplifies company spend management, is looking for a Sales Development Representative for the
SPANISH MARKET.
The platform combines smart payment cards, expense management, invoice processing, and real-time reporting ,
giving employees the freedom to spend while finance teams stay in control.
Your main mission will be to generate and qualify new business opportunities by identifying prospects, engaging with decision-makers, and booking meetings for the AE team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Outbound Prospecting Excellence
* Execute targeted outbound campaigns to Spanish companies (100-1000 employees)
* Source and qualify high-intent prospects using advanced tools and techniques
* Develop account-specific strategies for key verticals and ICP segments
* Maintain consistent activity levels to build sustainable pipeline growth
Inbound Lead Conversion
* Convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into qualified opportunities
* Engage with prospects already in the buyer's journey through marketing channels
* Qualify and book discovery calls with Account Executives
Market Intelligence & Strategy
* Develop deep understanding of Spanish business culture and spend management needs
* Identify key decision makers (CFOs, Finance Directors, Operations Managers)
* Adapt messaging and approach to Spanish market specifics and local regulations
YOUR PROFILE ✌️
Essential Requirements
* Native Spanish speaker with excellent written and verbal communication
* 1-2 years of sales / business development experience (B2B preferred)
* Hunter mentality with resilience and competitive drive
* Strong organizational skills and energy management capabilities
* Curiosity about business processes and financial operations
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Spanish accounting / ERP systems (Business Central, Cegid, SAP, Sage, etc.)
* Understanding of Spanish business regulations and corporate structures
* Previous experience in fintech, SaaS, or financial services
* Familiarity with prospecting tools (Outreach, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
