We're a multi-award-winning digital payments platform within the automotive industry - working with over 4,000 automotive retailers throughout Europe, helping drivers pay for motoring costs, accessories, and other services through various payment options.

Bumper is a fast-growing payments scale-up and we’re excited to start the next phase of our growth having completed our Series B funding round last year. We’re looking to hire a dynamic, passionate, and visionary Business Development Executive to grow Bumper's client** base in Spain**.

Our Head Office is in Sheffield City Centre, with offices also based in London and Turkey. We've expanded further, bringing retailers in Ireland, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands onboard - world domination here we come!

**A bit about the role...**

We are looking for a Business Development Executive in Spain, who can offer our exciting product to customers and make the role their own. You will be responsible for helping develop the foundation of Bumper’s reputation in Spain, with the help of our Head of Sales in Spain and a talented team of Spanish Business Development Consultants.

You will have two core responsibilities - customer acquisition and new loan origination. You will be expected to create and enhance the portfolio of automotive retailers within Spain, while simultaneously driving high volumes of payments. You will develop close relationships with OEMs, retail groups, and established third-party automotive systems - so you must be based in_ _**Barcelona**_ or commuting distance_. The role will be largely remote, with an average of 2 days per week out and about visiting sites.

You will play a pivotal role in the growth of Bumper's customers and partnerships in the Spanish automotive market, allowing you to play a central part in a rapidly growing sector.

**Key responsibilities**:

- **Prospecting & Lead Generation**: Identify, engage, and qualify potential customers, build a strong pipeline, and create cross-selling opportunities within dealer groups and OEMs.
- **Relationship Management**: Address customer's needs with tailored solutions, nurture long-term relationships with manufacturers and retailers, manage activities in HubSpot CRM, conduct account reviews to enhance customer interaction with Bumper, and develop case studies showcasing Bumper’s financial impact.
- **Customer Base Growth**: Build an extensive customer base and drive increased retailer sales.
- **Collaboration & Support**: Work with customer operations for onboarding, provide customer support throughout the sales cycle, and collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Operations) for aligned strategies and customer success.

**Location**:
We are looking for our Business Development Executive based in **Barcelona** or within commuting distance, with travel required.

**What we are looking for in you...**
- Proven experience in a sales role with a track record of growing and managing a client portfolio.
- Strong interest in emerging products, with the ability to challenge conventional thinking regarding new product adoption.
- Degree-level education.
- Native Catalán & Native Spanish speaker; English proficiency is highly desirable.
- Highly self-motivated and target-oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Holder of a full, clean Spanish driving licence.

- **Commission scheme**:With a realistic OTE of up to €37,500
