What will you do?
* Design and implement software and/or firmware for embedded and real‐time onboard systems.
* Participate in the full lifecycle of embedded software development for space vehicles.
* Implement real‐time image processing and/or AI solutions on diverse target hardware platforms.
* Contribute to software and system validation, verification, and qualification activities.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across AI/IP, GNC, GNSS, and other avionics areas.
* Produce technical documentation following applicable space and aeronautics standards.
* Participate in projects covering areas such as satellite rendezvous, IOS/ADR, planetary EDL, launch vehicles, Earth observation, interplanetary missions, and autonomous vehicles.
* Work within an international team located in Spain, Portugal, UK, and Romania.
What are we looking for?
* Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronic, or Telecommunications Engineering.
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in embedded systems and/or software engineering.
* Experience in real‐time and safety‐critical software development (ECSS, DO‐178 or equivalent).
* Strong programming skills in C and C++ (plus optionally Python or Ada).
* Knowledge of configuration control tools (GIT, SVN).
* Solid understanding of real‐time multithreaded systems and RTOS (e.g., RTEMS, VxWorks, FreeRTOS).
* Knowledge of embedded computer architectures (ARM, PowerPC, RISC‐V, etc.).
* Ability to generate project documentation aligned with applicable standards.
* English: High level (spoken and written).
* Availability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid.
