About the position :
If you have previous experience in Procurement and an interest in hospitality, this may be a great opportunity for you. Accor is currently looking for a Senior Category Manager for services (main category cleaning / housekeeping) for our ENA Hub, based in Madrid or Milan.
Inside the Europe & North Africa teams of Accor, the Senior Category Manager is responsible for ensuring hotels benefit from the best quality and purchasing conditions for the Service categories.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE CONSIST OF?
The Senior Category Manager participates in defining the ENA procurement strategy, managing the range, and executing it. This person is part of a team reporting to a Category Director and works closely with the International / Base Category Management team.
Main Missions :
* Offer range management: Understanding business & guest needs, tracking new trends (competitive watch), translating these needs into Category « offer » Strategies, defining product / services assortment range, specifications, and managing revenue and profit for categories in scope, including marketplace offer management.
* Procurement / Sourcing Management: Developing procurement sourcing strategies aligned with Category vision, selecting suppliers, prioritizing tenders, reviewing supplier dependency, aligning with Corporate team for Global Category Strategy, defining procurement processes, logistics, and developing supplier base and innovation.
* Source to contract: Leading RFI / RFP / RFQ processes, assessing proposals, shortlisting, negotiating, contracting, implementing contracts, and managing supplier performance and relationships.
* Coordination on Global categories and international contract roll-out: Supporting and coordinating with BASE for best practices, synergies, local specificities, and international deal implementation.
* Customer relationship building as a country category expert.
About you :
* At least 3 years of experience in Procurement
* Business School / Master in Purchasing
* Proficiency in English and French (C1) and Spanish and/or Italian
