Reporting to the Operations Support department, you will be responsible for managing automation and artificial intelligence projects end-to-end, from scoping to operational deployment. You will play a key role in modernizing our sites, optimizing our logistics flows, and introducing innovative AI solutions.
Your mission is to identify and prioritize automation and AI opportunities, whether through new projects or the optimization of existing systems. You will contribute to transforming our operations in order to improve productivity, accuracy, safety, quality and sustainability within our warehouses.
Our approach is pragmatic: we focus on targeted, agile, scalable solutions that can be applied and replicable across sites and/or clients, with measurable return on investment. Large-scale automation and AI projects are considered only when technological reliability and ROI are demonstrated.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Main Responsibilities
* Identify and prioritize automation and AI opportunities across our logistics sites (Vision technology, IoT, algorithmic optimization, AI Chatbot, predictive capabilities, etc.),
* Detect and deploy automation and AI opportunities within processes (reception, unloading, order preparation, smart picking, optimized storage, automated inventory, document and administrative management, etc.),
* Assess the performance of existing automation systems and propose optimization or replacement initiatives,
* Build robust business cases integrating ROI, productivity, quality, service, and sustainability,
* Define and steer the AI & Automation roadmap (short/medium/long term) aligned with the company’s digitalization strategy,
* Manage AI and automation solution integration projects in close collaboration with business teams, data/IT, facility, and service providers,
* Oversee installation, testing phases, AI model training, and operational ramp-up of solutions.
* Maintain active technology watch and recommend new innovation pathways,
* Support change management: team training, adoption of AI solutions, performance monitoring, and change implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Skills and experience
Experience in digital transformation, logistic automation and AI projects applied to logistics,
Minimum 7 years’ experience in managing complex automation projects,
Strong knowledge of logistics automation and AI technologies,
Experience in developing business cases and digital transformation roadmaps,
Proficiency in budget management, multi-stakeholder coordination, and cross-functional leadership,
Knowledge of WMS is a plus,
Fluency in French and English is essential; Dutch is an asset,
