The Hapimag Paguera Resort is located on the beachfront. The Resort has 239 apartments, a restaurant, a beach restaurant, a cocktail bar, a supermarket, outdoor pools and an indoor pool.

We are looking for a motivated, service-oriented professional to join our team as a Head Chef to cover a temporary sick leave.

What you can expect
\n
- Overall Supervision of the smooth running of the kitchen team, covering quality, service, financial management, operations management and employee aspects.
- Responsibility of one kitchen outlet
- You participate in creating, modifying, and developing recipes, standardizing production to ensure consistent quality
- You support the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in the menu planning and inventory management
- You participate in elaborate, organise, assign and actively participate in the preparation of all dishes and coordinate daily tasks with the kitchen team.
- You will report directly to the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
- You participate in the Creation and control of employee duty rosters (in agreement with the resort management)
- Training of new employees
What you bring along\n
- Proven record of achievements in a similar position within the hotel industry.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of best practices in gastronomy and Hospitality
- Ability to manage and lead kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
- Experience with restaurant management software and Google office
- Ability to work under pressure, strong attention to detail, and solid organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills (German or English)
