Junior Key Account Manager Retail

Murcia or Madrid (Spain) / Hybrid

We are looking for a Junior Key Account Manager (Retail) who thrives on the front lines of the FMCG market. If you have a sharp commercial mindset, love the thrill of hitting targets, and know how to turn data into sales arguments, this is your place to grow.

Key Responsibilities

- Effectively manage trade spend and ensure forecast accuracy to achieve overall sales and profit goals.
- Assist with the development and execution of business customer plans, perform weekly/period forecasting and demand planning.
- Analyze data and trends to increase sales and profitability; collect competitive activity and circulate basic category data for internal and external use.
- Conduct business reviews with customers to review the current state of the business and align on future opportunities and goals.
- Communicate and work with Field Sales to execute plans; activate local marketplace initiatives and promotions; perform periodic market visits to ensure compliance.
- Partner with Category Management Teams to gain insight and help develop business growth opportunities; utilize consumer and shopper insights to deliver leading category management programs.
- Contribute to consistent operational growth through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as financial targets, space targets, and display targets.

Qualifications

- Commercial profile with solid experience in the FMCG sector.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business/Economics and 3‑5 years of experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).
- Comfortable with data analysis, using logic to solve business issues and have incredible attention to detail.
- Excellent team player who knows how to align internal teams (Marketing, Trade, Finance) to serve the customer.
- Fluent in Spanish and a B2‑C1 level of English.
