ResponsibilitiesTender Phase
* Participates in the programming of the project with the customer or customer representative to understand and document the owner's project requirements, influencing solution design.
* Understands the codes and ordinances local to the opportunity/project.
* Provides appropriate design documents to support the proposal and allows the estimating team to assemble cost for the proposal, identifying at a minimum:
o Identification of major LV infrastructure equipment.
o Bid specifications for major/long LV lead equipment.
o Space and site layout.
* Checks feasibility with vendors.
* Provides estimate to develop the final design documents and construction administration as appropriate for the project.
* Solicits, reviews, and approves sub-consultant proposals to provide a complete set of design documents for the project.
* Provides the technical narrative for the critical infrastructure to be incorporated into the proposal.
* Performs design improvements primarily to support upgrades and efficient solutions in conjunction with client needs.
Design Phase
* Utilizes engineering skills and applicable codes and standards to implement systems that are safe, reliable, and economical.
* Takes the lead for the basis of design for the project, including redundancy requirements, detailed design, connectivity, footprint, and validation of LV equipment product selection.
* Supports the System Sequence of Operation (SOO).
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Production and Delivery Phase
* Manages the support and response to requests for information (RFI) of LV equipment.
* Assists the production team for clarification, changes, corrections, value engineering, etc., of the design documents for unforeseen site conditions or customer requests.
* Provides assistance to the production/project management team for change order requests.
Main Interactions
* Reports to the PreFab Tendering team Leader.
* Internal: Technical Leader, SME, Sales Manager, Opportunity Leader, Intra Group suppliers, Project Managers, Quality, Factory.
* External: Customers and Outside Group suppliers.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline; Electrical Engineering preferred.
* +5 years experience with infrastructure projects within engineering teams in multinational companies and integral teams.
* +3 years technical experience in data center solutions, including secure power systems, cooling systems, electrical and mechanical installations, logistics, and civil works.
* Previous customer-facing roles preferred.
* Electrical panel design experience (Prisma, Okken, Blockset background).
* 5 years of experience in power systems design.
* Experience with simulation tools such as SKM, ETAP, or Easypower is valuable.
* Experience with generators, UPSs, Schneider Electric & APC products background is desired.
* Grounding designs per IEC, IEEE & TIA 607‑B standards.
* Results oriented, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Influence and convincing skills.
* Decision-making and escalation ability when arbitration is required.
* Experience developing technical documents and drawings, preparing material estimates for bids, requests for quotations, material purchase requisitions, and evaluating vendor offers.
* Excellent attitude toward providing system solutions to customer problems.
* Proven ability to work independently and provide sound technical advice and constructive support to project managers and customers.
* Ability to generate and foster client relationships in a fast‑paced and competitive business environment.
* Capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* English fluency is a must (C1).
* Computer tools at user level: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project.
* Some knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud is valuable.
