You will make an impact in the following way:
* Contribute to sales pipeline growth and success rate through proposing connectivity solutions to customers in the transportation and energy verticals
* Deliver technical influence in all assigned accounts and projects
* Assist the Sales team in the design of high value RFI/RFQ answers for complex and critical infrastructure projects (Railway, Power Generation, Substations...)
* Propose solutions based on all Belden brands and broad products catalog.
* Collaborate with Solution Support and Services team in development/execution of PoCs, FATs, and network assessments
* Support technology campaigns such as webinars, roadshows, trade fairs
* Provide market and customer insights to R&D to support the definition of customer value propositions
* Capitalize and share knowledge by documenting remarkable solutions concepts and approaches
What you will bring:
* Education – Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a focus on IT/OT, telecommunication or networking, Master’s degree preferred
* Experience – 2+ years of experience in industrial and/or enterprise networking environment as a solution consultant or presales engineer, ideally in the transportation and energy verticals
* Knowledge & skills – Expert knowledge and understanding of networking technologies, ability to communicate complex technical topics in clear, simple language, experience working with cross functional teams, including sales, marketing and product development
* Personality – A collaborative and adaptable professional who builds strong relationships, copes well with pressure and approaches challenges with curiosity, integrity and a solutions-focused mindset
* Essentials - Ability to travel domestically and internationally, on average 30% of time, as well as fluency in Spanish and English
